Eretria, Temple of Apollo Pediment Reconstruction

Two possible reconstructions of the west pediment of the temple of Apollo Daphnephoros. It depicts an amazonomachy with the goddess Athena in the center and to her left the abduction of the Amazon queen Antiope by the Athenian hero Theseus.
